How to REGISTER — and become a
FREE member of the RAW FOOD PLANET Club!

To Join is very SIMPLE!
Just click ‘Here‘ and choose a user name and password.  To prevent spam, you will be asked to type in a word that appears on the page.

Membership Features
As a registered user, you will have access to your own private ‘Dashboard’ page on our site which offers the following features:

• Save Listings as ‘Favorites’ and view them on your Dashboard page
• Write your own Reviews of any Business Listings for others to read, you will be asked to rate each listing (1-5 stars) along with your review.
• View your past reviews
• View your own business listings
• Edit your profile and add your own ‘Avatar’ (image/photo)

How to find your personal Dashboard?
You can access your user area by clicking the ‘Dashboard’ button in the shaded gray row at the top (left) of the page, above the Raw Food Planet logo. You can also edit your profile using the ‘Howdy user name’ at the top right.

Searching for Listings

To see ALL Business Listings:
Go to the HOME page, leave the two white boxes labeled ‘Search — by keyword(s)‘‘ & ‘Search — by City, State, zip‘ completely empty.

Navigating the WORLD MAP
By clicking any circular ‘Map marker cluster‘ (see image 4) to Zoom into your chosen destination within seconds. You can drag the map to reach your chosen area, and can use the + and – tool (on left) to change the map magnification. All searches done not on the home page will return a limited number of results, based on your search criteria.

Using the TWO SEARCH boxes (see image 1 above): (‘Search – by name/ keyword’ and ‘Search by – City, State, zip‘)
You can also use the two searches together, for example, by typing ‘restaurant‘ within the ‘Search – by name/ keyword’ search field (empty white box), and ‘london‘ within the ‘Search by – City, State, zip’ search field, the map markers that will appear on the map, and the corresponding listings below, will include only restaurants in and close to London. If you need to search a larger area around London, it is best to use the default home page map (the only page that shows ALL listings throughout the world), and zoom into the area clicking on the circular ‘map marker clusters’. Because the ‘Search by – City, State, zip’ is set to a 30 mile radius, you will need to use the state (usa) and country clinks on the home page for larger area searches.

Once you have created a unique search (on any page of the site), the listings & map markers will appear in groups of 50. To see the next group of 35, you will need to scroll to the bottom of the list and use the  ‘1,2,3, Next’. It will show a previous on the left once you have clicked to the second page. …

‘Search – by name/ keyword’
This is also useful for looking for a particular company, or searching a particular topic such as ‘permaculture‘ or ‘superfoods‘. As with most search boxes on the internet, if you are using more than one word, you will need to contain the search phrase within quotes (ie. “juice bar“). Raw Food Planet will search for the phrase within multiple areas: the business name, address, description, and even the ‘tags’, which appear just above the description on the individual listing page.

Map markers & rectangular ‘Map Listing Bubbles‘

When you click any individual Map Marker (see image 4 above), the name, link, circular photo, address & a ‘Get directions on Map’ link will appear within a rectangular ‘Map Listing Bubble’. By clicking the business name, you can go to their individual listing page with full description, a small map (with directions), user reviews and up to 5 photos! You can close the ‘bubble’ by clicking on the ‘x’ on the top right.

All businesses appear on the map as colored ‘Map markers’ (see image 4 above). The different colored markers represent one of the 9 General Categeories  (see below) in the which the business listings appear.

All business listings can also be accessed via the ‘Categories’ button (see image 3 above) within the Main Menu at the top of each page. The results of these searches will only include company listings within your chosen category. Here is the complete list of Categories on Raw Food Planet. Click any of them to see the corresponding search:
